New technology permits safe testing, without the need of direct contact between probes and live wires. • The insulated crocodile clips can clip insulated cables from φ2.4 to 30mm. • Phase rotation is indicated by the rotary illumination of LEDs and logical audible tones. • The instrument can be fixed to a metal panel via the magnet on the back side. • Wide measuring range for 3 phase installations from 70V to 1000V AC. • Super brightness function permits clear LED's indication also in sunshine. • Complies with IEC 61010-1 CAT.IV 600V and CAT.III 1000V.

This panel demonstrates the operation of all Kyoritsu AC, AC/DC and Leakage clamp meters including the special open jaw AC/DC clamp meters like KEW FORK 2300R or KEW MATE 2000 series. It features the "actual size" photos of 3 different instruments. However for an effective demonstration, real samples of these instruments should be attached to the panel using a simple anti-theft cable supplied with the panel. This panel generates approx: 15A AC and DC, 30 mA AC of leakage current, 12V AC, 15V DC and 10Ω. The current values can be measured by simply clamping the wires or, for voltage and resistance values, touching the metallic test points on the panel with the instrument test leads.

This panel demonstrates the use of Kyoritsu Leakage Clamp Meters in troubleshooting nuisance tripping of RCD's due to leakage currents. It includes an RCD with bypass facilities and 5 downstream circuits. Each circuit can simulate a fixed/variable leakage current by selecting an appropriate switch. Using a Kyoritsu Leakage Clamp the overall leakage current can be found and the source of leakage current direction can be traced by clamping the conductors in each circuit. There can also be a combination of one or more leakage currents, for instance, it is possible to simulate a situation of an RCD tripping due to two faulty circuits, one with a fixed leakage current and the other one with variable leakage current (for example due to humidity).

This demonstrative panel is intended to demonstrate the use Multifunction testers and specific instruments like Continuity, Insulation, Earth, Loop and RCD testers of Kyoritsu. The panel simulates an electrical installation with TT and TN distribution systems, easy selectable by a switch on the panel. The tests that can be carried out are: • Continuity Test of Protective and Equipotential conductors • Insulation Resistance Test • Earth Resistance Test (Volt-Ampere method) • Earth Loop Test, including Prospective Short circuit Current (PSC) and Prospective Fault Current (PFC) • RCD Tripping Test
